Postdoctoral Position in Oncoimmunology – Super Killer CAR T Cells

Project Summary:
The successful applicant will join an international team to study CD8+ cytotoxic T cells and CAR-T therapies. The project focuses on:
Functional characterization of killer T cell phenotypes
Translational research using melanoma and DLBL patient samples
Use of high-resolution multiplexed imaging (Phenocycler Fusion)
Integration of scRNA-seq and spatial proteomics data
Identification of markers to improve CAR-T efficacy
Responsibilities:
Design and perform multiplexed cytotoxicity and imaging assays
Analyze scRNA-seq and flow cytometry data
Collaborate across labs in Oxford, Siena, Saarland
Train junior lab members
Contribute to manuscripts and grant proposals
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Oncoimmunology or related field
Strong multicolor flow cytometry experience
Bioinformatics proficiency (especially in single-cell analysis)
Publications in peer-reviewed journals
Imaging techniques experience preferred
Fluent in English
