The Department of Biology (DiBio) at the University of Padua invites applications for its fully funded, 3-year PhD Programme in Biosciences, starting in October 2025. Multiple positions are available across three specialized curricula:
- Biochemistry and Biotechnology
- Cell Biology and Physiology
- Evolution, Ecology, and Conservation
Eligibility:
Applicants should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in one of the following fields:
- Biology
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Molecular Biology
- Genetics
- Bioinformatics
- Ecology
- Environmental Science
- Biomedical Sciences
- Related Life Sciences disciplines

Admission Process:
- Pre-evaluation: Assessment based on curriculum vitae, research statement, publications, and other academic qualifications.
- Interview: Candidates scoring at least 7/10 in the pre-evaluation will be invited for an interview to discuss their academic background and research interests.
