PhD Opportunity in Power Electronic Devices and Converters – University of Warwick
We are looking for a PhD researcher to join a UKRI-funded project in Power Electronics at the University of Warwick, working within a world-class research group specializing in Silicon Carbide Device Technology.
Research Focus:
Support research and development in power electronic devices and converters within a leading UKRI-funded initiative.
Required Background:
- A strong undergraduate degree (MSc preferred) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics
- Experience with:
- Practical analogue electronics
- PCB design and assembly
- Circuit design, simulation, and testing
- Electrical/electronics systems analysis
- Bonus skills:
- Microcontroller programming
- Hands-on experience working with lab hardware and electronic systems
Funding:
- Fully funded PhD position
- Includes tuition and stipend support
