Dr. Qian Liu is seeking highly motivated PhD students and graduate research assistants to join her interdisciplinary research group at the School of Natural Resources (SNR), University of Missouri. The research integrates artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and geospatial data science to address pressing environmental and atmospheric challenges.
Research Areas Include:
- Remote Sensing and Atmospheric Science
- AI-Based Analysis of Atmospheric and Climate Phenomena
- Environmental Data Processing
- Spatiotemporal Theory in Big Earth Data
- Analytics of Extreme Weather Events and Natural Disasters
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills
- Background in computer science, atmospheric science, remote sensing, geospatial data science, or related fields
- Passion for interdisciplinary, real-world environmental research
