The Materials and Structures Laboratory (MatSLab) at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), led by Profs. Matthew P. Adams and Matthew J. Bandelt, is offering a fully funded postdoctoral scholar position starting Summer 2025.
Research Areas:
- Concrete durability and service-life modeling
- Low-carbon and low-embodied concrete materials
- Computational simulation and finite element modeling
- Hydration and degradation of cementitious materials
Eligibility:
- PhD in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Background in service-life modeling, computational modeling, or concrete durability
