The Simulation to Flight Applied Research Laboratory (S2FAR) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is offering 2 fully funded PhD positions starting Fall 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Comer.
Research Areas:
- Aero-propulsion and CFD
- Rotor-airframe interactions and aeroelasticity
- Autonomous systems and vehicle autonomy
- Aircraft/rotorcraft handling qualities and flying qualities
- Simplified modeling of vehicles, system identification, and control studies
Benefits:
- $2400/month stipend

Requirements:
- BS/MS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong background in aerospace systems and simulations
- Skills in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, SolidWorks, and control tools (e.g., QGroundControl)
