The Stachniss Lab at the University of Bonn is inviting applications for a fully funded PhD researcher position in the field of robotics. The position involves theoretical and applied research in robotic perception and mobile systems, with opportunities to work hands-on with real robots and sensors. Researchers are expected to develop novel solutions, publish in top venues, and contribute to open-source codebases.
Required Background:
- MSc in Computer Science, Robotics, Geodesy, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Strong background in robotics, computer vision/photogrammetry, or applied machine learning
- Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python
- Strong English communication skills (German not required)
