KU Leuven invites applications for a fully funded 4-year PhD position within the LDH2O project. The research focuses on the structuring of water in layered double hydroxides (LDHs) and its impact on sustainable cement materials.
Research Focus:
- Water interaction with LDHs in cement
- Application of advanced analytical techniques: NMR crystallography, XRD, TEM
- Contribution to the development of next-generation low-carbon cements

Candidate Profile:
