Postdoc
Location: IPREM, University of Pau, France

The Bio-inspired Materials Group at the IPREM Institute, University of Pau, France (led by Prof. Laurent Billon), is offering a postdoctoral (15 + 15 months) as part of the European ENDURION JTI-CleanH2 project. The research will focus on:
- Synthesis and characterization of bio-based and ionic liquid monomers
- Design and self-assembly of block copolymers
- Development of novel binders and AEM membranes for hydrogen evolution
- Collaboration with European partners, with possible travel
- Contribution to publications and intellectual property development
Requirements:
- PhD in Polymer Science or a related field
- Strong background in macromolecular synthesis and polymer self-assembly
- Additional experience in adhesion science or electrocatalytic systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and academic writing skills
Contract and Benefits:
- Duration: 15 months, renewable once
- Gross Salary: Approx. 3,200 EUR/month
- Start Date: June 2025 (flexible)
