Topic: Advanced Mass Spectrometry for tRNA Structural Analysis
The Gabelica Lab at the Section of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Geneva, is recruiting a PhD student to explore how covalent modifications influence tRNA structures using advanced native mass spectrometry techniques. This interdisciplinary research combines MS, ion mobility, top-down fragmentation, and molecular modeling to investigate RNA structure and function.
Project Highlights:

Candidate Profile:
- MSc in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, or related fields

- Good communication skills in English (French expected to be learned)

- Full-time, salaried position
- 4-year PhD program
- Start date: as early as July 1, 2025
- Teaching duties in analytical chemistry (in French)
